My Card Using SSS November Card Kit

Hello friends!

My card kit from Simon Says Stamps arrived and my favourite item has got to be the exclusive stamp set!

I literally squealed with joy when I saw them!!

It is one of the new releases and way before the kit arrived here , I was eyeballing them ...YEY!!

Meu card kit da Simon Says Stamps chegou e o meu item favorito eh o stamp set exclusivo!

Eu literalmente soltei um grito de felicidade quando vi o conteudo da caixa!!

Eh um dos lancamentos deles e muito antes do kit chegar aqui , eu jah estava de olho neles...YEY!!

E esse eh o cartao que eu fiz usando o kit:

I decided to make an unconventional card. 

The front of the card is a strip of paper (around 2 inches) and it is curved to make the card stand by itself. 

Decidi fazer um cartao diferente.

A parte da frente eh praticamente uma tira  de mais ou menos 4cm e que se curva para manter o cartao em pe.

The inside works as a background of the card.

The two hearts were stamped in Stampin'Up ink and heat embossed .Then I fussy cut and glued them to the centre of the strip. I used dimensionals to the small heart  and the glittery little heart.

Carimbei os dois coracoes e depois os recortei. Foram colados no centro da tira usando cola normal e dimensionais.

 The sentiment was heat embossed in black and them I punched with a circle punch from Stampin'up.

Halloween Decor

Good Morning my friends!

I'm back with some more projects.

Inspired by Amy Powers workshop, I made my first ever celebration tree! 

I always wanted a white painted tree , so I painted mine with gesso. 

I didn't know painting was so therapeutic...

Can you see the pink spiders?

Baseada em um workshop com a Amy Powerss,eu fiz a minha arvore para todas as ocasioes (Natal,Pascoa,dia dos namorados...)

Sempre quis ter uma arvore pintada de branco , entao pintei a minha tambem. Pintar eh tao relaxante...

Repararam nas aranhas pink?

Could not forget to display some treats too.

The lollie wrappers were made with Die-namics Lollipop Treat Die and I got them from Dies To Die For 

I have spider-phobia and  I didn't want to make them scary and realistic.

So , I went for pink,party hats with flower tops and lace and some funny looks!

Tenho fobia de aranhas e nao queria faze-las muito realisticas .

Adivinha....fui de pink,chapeuzinho com flor,lacos e carinhas engracadas!

Made some gratitude ornaments as well. They will  decorate my new white tree after the Halloween.

Fiz esses enfeites com palavras de inspiracao e gratidao para enfeitar na minha arvore,depois do Halloween.

                                            

 I edge punched (using my Stampin'Up punch) lots of 2x12 inches strips of patterned paper and scored each of them on every scallop. Folded it in accordion style and glued with hot glue gun to make a flower. To the centre , I die cut a lace from PTI and the circles were die cut from Trendy Tree Top Stamp Set and sentiments are from Amy Powers workshop.



Eu perfurei as bordas de varias tiras de papel decorado 2x12 inches e depois dobrei a cada escalope formando assim uma especie de sanfona. Colei com hot glue gun em forma de flor. No centro usei dies da PTI e os circulos tambem da PTI. Os sentimentos sao da Amy Powers.

Paper Bags Mini Album

Hello my friends!

Did I mention before that I have a big addiction to  scrapbook kits....Maybe because I don't have much time to shop around.... (ooooh my nose is growing!!)

Ok, so I do love to scrapshopping ,but I do love scrapbook kits too. 

Makes it easier for me to get on with a project without having to sort through my stash , especially if my scrap time is limited.

So I got this kit a while ago from Laura Denison and decided to make a paper bag mini album with it.

The paper bags I got from CraftsUlove and they are great quality for minis.

Jah falei pra voces que sou meio viciada em scrapbook kits?.. Talvez seja porque eu nao tenho muito tempo para fazer compras de scrapbook...(mentiroooosa!!)

Falando serio, eu gosto de fazer scrapshopping(compras de scrapbook) mas gosto tambem dos kits prontos.  Eles facilitam bastante na producao de algum projeto, pois estah tudo ali numa caixinha , pronto para ser trabalhado.  Uma mao na roda se voce nao tem muito tempo pra brincar com os seus papeis!

Entao resolvi usar um kit que comprei ha um tempo atras da Laura Denison e fiz um album feito de saco de papel (daqueles marrons bem baratos). Se voces quiserem o link eu comprei os meus na CraftsUlove mas eu acho que voces encontram em qualquer lugar.

Simple mini,but I like simple : )

 I left the label on the front cover blank ready to add alpha stickers or die cuts.

  Big tags inside each paper bag.

I have used almost everything in the kit! That feels good!!

Cards Made With SSS October Card Kit

Good Morning!!

It's a rainy Monday morning here in London and I thought I would update my little blog before work.

Bom Dia!!

Estamos com uma chuvosa manha de Segunda Feira aqui em Londres , entao resolvi bloggar um pouco antes do trabalho.

For my cards I used this month's kit from Simon Says Stamps

     I made these cards for my nephew in Brazil who's going to have a surgery and need lots of prayers. 

I never made masculine cards.....and it was a bit of a struggle to make them look 'manly'

I made two , so I could decide which one to choose.

Fiz esses cartoes para o meu sobrinho no Brasil,que vai fazer uma cirurgia e precisa de muitas oracoes.

Nunca fiz cartoes masculinos.....e foi dificil fazer!!

Bom, eu fiz dois pra poder escolher no final.

( My husband thinks the glittery heart is girly)

 So I decided to make the second one a simple card...

 ...but couldn't control myself and added embossed flowers.....!

I am not sure about the results !

... my hubby gave me the looks...

I think I failed !!!

My Card For Stamptember

I made this card for the Simon Says Stamps Stamptember Challenge using Stampin'up designer paper ( a very old one) and stamps. It was made for a friend in Hong Kong.

Fiz esse cartao usando papeis e stamps da Stampin'up. Foi feito para uma amiga que mora em Hong Kong.

Card Made With September Kit

 Hi lovely you!

I'm back with yet another card I've made using the September Card Kit from Simon Says Stamps.Love the stamp set!! Actually , their exclusive stamp sets were the main reason why I decided to go for the kits....so please Simon Stamps , don't ever change that : )

Oi gente boa!

Estou aqui de volta com mais um cartao feito usando o card kit da Simon Says Stamps. Adorei os stamps (vou chamar os carimbos assim,pois nao tenho certeza se eh assim que se fala no Brasil...) que vieram no kit!! Para ser sincera, foi por causa desses stamps exclusivos  que eu resolvi entrar nesse kit club.......por isso Simon Stamps, nao mude isso nunquinha ta : )

Let me just tell you this - I had so much fun making this card!! 

I had this stamp set from Hero Arts for ages and I remember buying them because the doggies were too cute. AND I didn't even have Hayley at that time ... But, I knew I would want to make something with them one day.

Today is the Day!

Gente, eu me diverti tanto fazendo esse cartao!!

Eu tenho esse stamp set da Hero Arts jaz faz um tempo e me lembro de ter comprado soh por causa das imagens de cachorrinhos. E eu nem tinha a Hayley naquela epoca....mas, eu sabia que de alguma forma, um dia iria usa-los.

Hoje eh o Dia!

 Card Front backing- I stamped the back of the dog body with the same stamp/patterned paper. Had to hide some details( eyes,tongue) with post it notes and then draw some lines with a black permanent pen to make it look like it is the back.


Parte interna- Eu carimbei a mesma imagem do cachorrinho mas omiti algumas partes (olho,lingua) e preenchi com caneta preta  de tinta permanente para ficar parecido com as costas dele.

I used dimensional adhesive to the heart and to the dog.




Usei adesivo dimensional no coracao e no caozinho.

                                 Little Stickles dots to the star.



                              Bolinhas de Stickles na estrela.

Do you like the hanging star on top of the doggie head?

Voces gostaram da estrela movel em cima da cabecinha do caozinho?
