Cards Made With SSS October Card Kit

Good Morning!!
It's a rainy Monday morning here in London and I thought I would update my little blog before work.

Bom Dia!!
Estamos com uma chuvosa manha de Segunda Feira aqui em Londres , entao resolvi bloggar um pouco antes do trabalho.

For my cards I used this month's kit from Simon Says Stamps

I made these cards for my nephew in Brazil who's going to have a surgery and need lots of prayers.
I never made masculine cards.....and it was a bit of a struggle to make them look 'manly'
I made two , so I could decide which one to choose.

( My husband thinks the glittery heart is girly)

So I decided to make the second one a simple card...

...but couldn't control myself and added embossed flowers.....!

I am not sure about the results !

... my hubby gave me the looks...

I think I failed !!!

Have a lovely week : )

Nem preciso dizer que a minha tentativa de fazer cartao masculino foi um fracasso!!
Nao consegui me segurar e coloquei coracao,glitter e flores!!!hahahaha

Tenham uma otima semana : )

    1. Hi Heidi! Thank you for the lovely comment. The heart was punched with Martha Stewart All Over the Page Punch called Studded Heart. For the backing I've used Stampin'Up glitter paper (it's a stunning paper). xx

  3. Found you blog through Simon Says stamp card gallery for their kit. Nice works here. Im currently working and living in Qatar but thinking if I'll subscribe too in their monthly kit. Is it all worth it considering delivery, cost & other things like customs.

    1. Hi Ria! If you like making cards then I think it is worth it , because the papers and embellies are all in one place for you to create and have fun! The icing on the cake is the exclusive stamp sets - for me they alone make the kit worth it since I don't find it here in the UK. About shipping , I really think they have a great shipping rate for internationals and I buy a lot from them and never had any problems. I do think Simon Says Stamps are the best place to buy from if you are international. I hope this helps !
Thanks for stopping by : )
